Independent Living Solutions is a North Queensland, locally owned family company established in 1993, Independent Living Solutions has developed into one of the largest suppliers of healthcare and disability equipment in North and Western Queensland. 

Independent Living Solutions is a Quality Assured company and specialises in the sale, hire, servicing and repair of healthcare equipment.  Services are provided to hospitals, nursing homes, special care organisations and for home nursing.

Independent Living Solutions owns and operates from their purpose-built premises in Townsville.  Currently there are twelve full time staff employed, including three Occupational Therapists and two fully trained Service Technicians with trade qualifications.  The customer service staff are specifically trained to meet the many and varied needs of our clients within the health care industry.  Our store and warehouse staff have been specifically trained in the assembly and pre delivery servicing of all our healthcare equipment.

Independent Living Solutions covers an area from the Tropic of Capricorn to Thursday Island and west to Mount Isa with five vehicles on the road visiting and servicing healthcare facilities.  This service has been well received especially by the regional townships in Northern and Western Queensland where in the past the healthcare industry equipment suppliers have made very little contact.

Independent Living Solutions has established an Occupational Therapy Consultation Service which provides private consultation to individuals and organisations specialising in home assessments, home modifications, equipment prescription and hospital discharge.

Independent Living Solutions is an authorised distributor/agent for a broad range of products and represents over 50 well known companies who manufacture specific equipment for the health care industry.
