Independent Living Solutions is a North Queensland based,
locally owned company. Established in 1993, Independent
Living Solutions has developed into one of the largest
suppliers of disability aids in North and Western
Queensland.
Independent Living Solutions owns and operates from its
purpose-built premises in Townsville. Currently, nine full
time staff, including two Occupational Therapists are
employed, with a service van full time on the road. This
service has been received well, visiting all the regional
townships in Northern and Western Queensland where very
little contact is made by the health care industry equipment
suppliers.
Independent Living Solutions is a quality assured company
(ISO9001:2000) and specialises in the sale, hire and
servicing of equipment to many hospitals, nursing homes,
special care organisations and for home nursing.
Occupational Therapists are also available for advice and
private consultation.
Independent Living Solutions is the authorised
dealer/reseller for many of the products sold into the North
Queensland health care industry. Independent Living
Solutions base represents over 40 companies which
manufacture and distribute equipment for independent
living.
